What is Pediatric Rehabilitation?
Pediatric Rehabilitation helps children and youth live well, build resiliency and take part in activities meaningful to them and their families. Rehabilitation professionals:
Work with families to understand their priorities and provide the support their child needs.
Help children develop the skills they need to take part in activities, connect, and play.
This team is part of AHS Pediatric Rehabilitation and offers:
Live webinars, video series, and written materials
Free resources, information, and strategies on various developmental topics
Community presentations to increase service awareness and reduce barriers
Resources are developed and delivered by occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, and speech and language pathologists. A referral is not needed to access these resources. Learn more here: Community Catalogue.
