About

#BuildingHope

Share how the new Calgary Cancer Centre is building hope.

Click on 'add your idea' below to upload a photo along with a brief description about why it represents hope.

Through images taken by patients, families, AHS staff, physicians and the general public, #buildinghope will share snapshots of hope, courage, research, partnership, community, etc. The snapshots can be of a simple portrait, a pink ribbon, a mother with her child – examples of what Albertans see the building representing, or building for them.

Once received, a selection of these photos will be chosen by AHS to become part of a photo mosaic that spells the word HOPE.  As the CCC is being built, the mosaic will take shape and grow, such that in the end, the full mosaic will be displayed in a prominent location in the CCC.

In addition to submitting via posting on Twitter, we are are also collecting photos here.

Privacy and consent: By uploading a photo, participants are providing AHS with their consent to use their image(s) in the mosaic, promotional materials and social media.  Participants can get their images removed by simply contacting calgary.cancercentre@albertahealthservices.ca
