Thanks to the meaningful input of many teachers across the province and consultation with the Body Image Research Lab at the University of Calgary's Werklund School of Education, AHS’ Nutrition Services has developed new Health and Wellness lesson plans for Alberta educators!
Lesson plans for Kindergarten through Grade 9 will be available to teachers, as part of a pilot project:
- Kindergarten to Grade 9 Food and Nutrition lesson plans are available now
- Grade 7 to 9 Body Image lesson plans will be available in the future
We’re eager to ensure that these new lesson plans are meeting the needs of educators, and your students.Use the survey below to let us know if the plans meet your needs, and how we can improve. The survey will be open until November 30, 2024.
