Re-Imagining the new Cardston Health Centre and Health campus

We want to hear from you! Alberta Health Services is planning for future healthcare service delivery in Cardston. As part of this plan, we are reviewing the current Cardston Health Centre (CHC), and considering what a new healthcare facility could look like. We want to know what matters to you.

Our vision is one where the future facility offers a mix of healthcare services that meet your needs including acute care, emergency services, long-term care, public health and outpatient services, home care, addiction and mental health and other services all in a single location!

We want you’re feedback on what is working well, what you see as some of the current gaps within the current CHC, and what new or expanded AHS services you would like to see offered.

Please take a few moments to complete the Cardston Health Centre Engagement Survey. The survey is anonymous, and no individual information is shared.

The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. Please share your thoughts with us by October 23, 2022.

*Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the Government of Alberta (GOA) are committed to working to improve services and enhance healthcare delivery in the Cardston area. Business case activities to support replacement of the Cardston Health Centre are now underway and will continue until mid-2023. Alberta Infrastructure (AI) is leading the business case, with Alberta Health (AH) and AHS’ input. This input into the future services at the Cardston Health Centre will be used to inform the business case.

No construction or operational funding commitments or decisions have been made by Government at this time. The Business Case will help Government make future funding decisions.
