Thank you for your invaluable input in the South Zone Healthcare Planning. This project has now concluded. 

As our communities and province grow and age, and demands on the healthcare system evolve, we need to plan for the future of health services.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is creating the South Zone Healthcare Plan to help shape the high-level strategic vision, direction, and clinical service plans for AHS’ South Zone for the next 10 to 15 years. The South Zone Healthcare Plan will be the road map for decision making and prioritization to provide quality, accessible and sustainable health services. The development of this plan will require a zone-wide approach, reaching into the communities served by the zone to understand their unique perspectives and priorities.

To do that, we need to hear from you. Start by registering to receive updates as this project progresses.

Over the past few months, we have received great feedback and insights, and we have heard that communities have more to share. For this reason, we are extending the timeline for the online survey to January 15, 2023.

    Alberta Health Services invites you to help us create a healthcare plan that will serve the communities of the South Zone for the next 10 to 15 years. As our communities and province grow and age, and the demands on the healthcare system evolve, we need to plan for the future of health services.

    We will be hosting a series of hybrid sessions throughout South Zone in the coming weeks. We invite you to join us in person or join us online at one of the sessions listed below to share your thoughts. Tell us what matters to you and the people in your community to help shape the future of healthcare in South Zone.

    If you are not able to take part in one of the live sessions, we still want to hear from you! Please share your thoughts via our online survey until January 15.
