A new corridor that connects Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC), and the Central Alberta Cancer Centre (CACC) will be open for patients as of April 7.
This corridor, accessible from the hospital’s Lower Level, will ensure that patients continue to have uninterrupted access to the CACC during demolition and construction activities related to the new patient tower.
Access to the CACC main entrance will be closed as of 5 p.m. on April 4 to coincide with the closure of the patient drop-off/pick-up zone, which will become part of a restricted construction zone. Access to the CACC through the ambulatory annex will also be closed as of 5 p.m. on April 4, making the corridor the primary access point going forward.
