North Zone Addiction & Mental Health - Community Integration
We want to hear from community service providers to better understand areas to improve collaboration and coordination of services, as well as understand their perspectives on possible service duplication or gaps.
With the input received a proposed model for integrated access will be developed, based on evidence and a detailed understanding of current access challenges. This will be enhanced through the creation of a service inventory, encompassing both AHS and non-AHS services.

CLOSED: This survey has concluded.
The Community Integration & Access team, as part of AHS' Addiction & Mental Health (AMH), is working to engage with community service providers to better understand areas for improved collaboration and coordination of addiction and mental health services across northern Alberta.
This is an opportunity to strengthen working relationships through identifying opportunities for enhanced engagement, collaboration, and coordination between AHS and other community service providers.
Your input will help AHS to identify:
- Existing collaboration and coordination of services
- Barriers in service delivery and access
- Gaps and duplication of addiction and mental health services
- Perspectives regarding integrated access and a service inventory
---
Next steps:
The vision is to ultimately improve addiction and mental health service delivery and lay the foundation of a proposed model for AHS Addiction & Mental Health integrated access to better serve northern Albertans.
