Consultation has concluded.
If you are looking for information about addiction and mental health services available in your community or for healthcare advice, please call 1-877-303-2642 (Toll free), if this is an emergency, please dial 911.
Alberta Health Services (AHS), in partnership with the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, has designed and built The Summit: Marian & Jim Sinneave Centre for Youth Resilience to provide mental health services for children and youth. AHS is pleased to announce the centre is now open!
The centre offers therapeutic support through a day hospital and community-based treatment.
It also provides walk-in services for anyone under 18 years of age and their family who would like to speak with a counsellor. Walk in services do not require a referral.
We thank you for your support and input. Building The Summit required the dedication and support of our community partners and stakeholders, and we are grateful that this site will now be meeting the needs of children and youth.
