Temporary impacts to public transit stops

Transit users will continue to see adjustments to Red Deer City Transit stops and routes, primarily Route 3, as the south parkade expansion project continues.


As of the week of November 4, the following bus stops are operational:

  • Outbound/Southbound: by South Complex on west side of 50A Avenue
  • Outbound/Southbound: by South Parkade on north side of 52 Avenue
  • Inbound/Northbound: by South Parkade on south side of 52 Avenue
  • Inbound/Northbound: across from South Parkade on east side of 50A Avenue

Though most of 39 St. is closed to allow room for crane work, buses are now traveling through the intersection of 39 St. and 52 Ave. which is a slight adjustment to the usual route.

Route 3 is expected to return to its usual route near the end of November, when the crane will be repositioned off 39 St. allowing for it to fully reopen.
