Shaping our mission, vision and values
An important and inspiring project is underway at Health Shared Services as our new organization takes shape: defining the mission, vision and values that will guide our future. This is a unique opportunity to create a shared purpose and identity that reflects who we are, how we work together and how we support the Alberta health system.
Our mission will describe the role we play in the health system.
Our vision will express our long‑term direction and aspirations.
Our values will shape how we collaborate, make decisions, and engage with one another every day.
Your voice is essential in shaping this foundation for Health Shared Services. Throughout this project, there will be many opportunities to share your perspectives, ideas and feedback through surveys, workshops and other activities.
We started with a short survey and hosted five employee workshops in April. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey or joined a workshop to share your perspectives. Next, we're focusing on drafting mission, vision and values statements to share in the coming weeks.
