Self-Care Videos

Self-care has never been more important than it is now.

Watch as Advisory Council members share some unique ideas of things they do to unwind, unplug and indulge in a bit of self-care.

What are your go-to activities? If you have uplifting and enlightening ideas to add to the mix, we'd like to hear from you! See guidance below and upload your video to this section. Alternately, share your ideas in the box below.

Outline: create a short selfie video outlining ways you indulge in self-care. Big or small, all ideas are valuable and welcome. These are intended to inspire, uplift and encourage.

Length: up to 30-40 seconds.

Ideas for content:
- include your name, the Council you represent (if applicable), where you are in Alberta (city/town)
- identify the self-care activity/activities you favour
- explain when and why you choose this/these
- what does self-care mean for you?
- how has self-care positively impacted your life?
- when do you know it's time to do something for yourself?
- how has your self-care activity changed during the pandemic?
