Alberta Health Services is continually working to improve its websites. Finding My Way is a current initiative that we’d like to invite you to get involved in to improve wayfinding for services, facilities and resources on the AHS websites.

Finding My Way

With 86% of Albertans connected to the internet, Albertans, patients and families are looking for more information online when interacting with their healthcare system. We are undertaking a new strategic project to better understand what’s working, what’s not working and how we can improve wayfinding for Albertans, patients and families.

Capturing the Albertan voice

Our approach and strategy is to work with Albertans and center our design around their needs. We plan to create a new approach to wayfinding for services, facilities and resources by using a co-design technique with patients and their advocates, to better understand their needs and what is important to them.

  • Help design the new primary care website

    Primary Care Alberta is creating a new website to help people find primary care information and services in Alberta. This includes how to get care, manage health conditions, and stay healthy.


    We’ve created new designs and now we are looking for your help to review and validate them. Your feedback will help us make sure the site meets the needs of Albertans. 


    If you’d like to help, please answer the questions below. At the end of the survey, you will be asked to choose a time for your session that works for you. Based on your answers, you will be notified if you are selected and if so, someone from the Innovation and Digital Solutions team will get in touch with you to confirm the session date/time and provide further information. 


    Sessions will be conducted virtually 1:1 through Microsoft Teams and will take approximately 1 hour.

    Primary Care Alberta is creating a new website to help Albertans understand and find primary care, and support physicians and healthcare providers with information and resources to deliver patient-centred care.

    We've created new designs and now we are looking for your help to review and validate them. Your feedback will help us make sure the site meets the needs of physicians and healthcare providers in Alberta.
