Calgary’s Cancer Centre launches fundraising campaign

On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, an ambitious $250M fundraising campaign for the new Calgary Cancer Centre launched. Alberta Health Services, The University of Calgary, the Alberta Cancer Foundation are partnering to ensure we’re ready to make the most of this once-in-a-generation opportunity. The campaign, Own.Cancer, aims to help cancer patients take control of their diagnosis and treatment. The way we look at it – the more we own cancer, the less it owns us.

The campaign team has already raised $70M towards their goal. On Tuesday evening, the Cancer Centre, among other landmarks in Calgary, were lit up to mark the start of this powerful campaign.
