Student Day 2025

On May 21, EMS Operations hosted its Annual Student Day during Paramedic Services Week at the Northwest Station, which was attended by students from Edmonton and area schools. At this career exploration event, paramedic students learned what it truly means to be part of one of the most dynamic healthcare teams in Alberta.

They discovered the various career paths available within EMS, learned about our specialty teams like Mobile Integrated Health, Tactical EMS, Incident Response and more, met experienced paramedics and team leaders who can share real-world insights and advice, and got a behind-the-scenes look at the structure and divisions that support EMS across the province. Every year it is a valuable opportunity for future paramedics to explore the possibilities and connect with the people who live this work every day.
