Christie Nomination

Christie Shepherd lives the AHS values. She truly CARES. She shows compassion to colleagues, patients & families. She speaks with kindness to everyone she interacts with and offers help wherever she can. Christie is accountable to to herself, her staff and our patients. She does what she says she is going to do, and does it well. She personifies respect and is accepting of hearing and considering all points of view. She gives everyone a chance to speak and express their thoughts and opinions. She intentionally works on her relationship with the people around her. She says hello to everyone she passes in the hallway or trail outside. Christie demonstrates excellence by ensuring she does everything correctly, fairly and by the book. She commits 100% to every task she takes on. Christie is a champion for safety. She contributes to a safe environment for patients and staff. She goes above and beyond to do her own research to find the correct answer. She also provided psychological safety for staff with her approachable nature.
