Tackling COVID-19 together

We’ve impacted the spread of COVID-19 in the past months and we can do it again.

Alberta is reporting record numbers of daily new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, including record ICU numbers. The steep rise in our COVID-19 numbers requires all Albertans to take some simple but immediate actions to slow the spread of the coronavirus. We’ve created a postcard outlining these steps.

Albertans, you flattened the curve at the start of this pandemic.
Together we need to do it again — to protect one another and our health system.

All Albertans MUST take personal steps to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory infections. Protect your loved ones by practicing physical distancing and by wearing a non-medical mask in public when it's difficult to maintain a distance of two metres.

Your stories and experiences with COVID-19 are important and we want them to be heard. Your experiences can help remind Albertans of the importance of remaining vigilant and taking voluntary and mandatory restrictions seriously.

  • Straight Talk is a campaign that encourages front line health care professionals who care for those who have tested positive for COVID-19 to talk about their experiences. Clinicians are sharing stories of the pressures they face as the number of COVID-positive patients in Alberta continue to rise.

The goal of this campaign is to help the public recognize the importance of remaining vigilant, and taking both the voluntary and mandatory public health restrictions seriously.
