Council Meeting - September 9, 2021

The Patient and Family Advisory Council reconvened via Zoom after the summer break. At this meeting, Council participated in an interactive education session on Social Determinants and Indigenous Health provided by the Alberta Health Services Indigenous Cultural Competency Education Team. During this session, Council members learned how social determinants such as education, environment, and economic stability impact Indigenous health and wellness. Council members were given the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about this topic.

Council members were also given an update on project activities.
